Will my Airtek fit on the plane?

Yes, you can take your Airtek into the cabin. If the space in the cabin is smaller than expected, you can deflate it using the large valve. Once the air is deflated, close the valves again - until you arrive. Then inflate again.

Is Airtek 100% waterproof?
No, but it is waterproof. However, if you want maximum protection from water, we recommend using our Raincover.

Can I put my handpan into the Airtek when it is fully inflated?
No. It could compromise the integrity of your instrument and the zipper. It is important to always remove the air from both cushions before packing your handpan in Airtek. (See video tutorial)

Do I need to inflate Airtek every time I use it?
Yes. The self-inflating system inflates the case to about 80%.
The rest of the inflation is done by mouth. With 3-4 breaths you can adjust the pressure for your instrument to achieve maximum protection from AIR TECHNOLOGY.

IMPORTANT: Do not use pumps or compressors to inflate the air cushions, your mouth is sufficient. If you use inflation aids, there is a risk that the air cushions will be overfilled and thus damaged.

Can I change the air cushions in the Airtag?
Yes, if for any reason you want to change the air cushions, this can be done in a short time and with very little effort.
