At Battiloro, the journey through the musical universe began in 2007. A group of friends, musicians and percussionists discovered the potential of a fascinating new instrument: the handpan. This passion for the instrument was combined with the expertise of experienced craftsmen, and thus Battiloro was born.
The Battiloro Handpan is made in keeping with the origins of this instrument and is entirely handmade. The two phases of careful design and sound research ensure 100% Made in Italy craftsmanship. Battiloro's team is made up of highly qualified artisans who dedicate the necessary time to each individual instrument, shaping it, tuning it by ear and finishing it until it becomes an incomparable, unique piece.
Each instrument has its own unique character, like a tailor-made garment, and reflects the personality of the musician who chooses it. We therefore recommend trying the instruments in person. We welcome you and will be happy to help you choose the instrument that best suits your tastes and needs.
In contrast to the hectic times that surround us, Battiloro presents the Moon Handpan product line. This line invites you to discover yourself through the slow practice of self-discovery. The instruments, made of stainless steel in various finishes and colors, from bronze to silver and copper, offer a deep sustain and a brilliant, crystal-clear sound. The scales range from high to very low frequencies, creating an exclusive experience that expresses the infinite range of your own inner desires. With Battiloro Handpan you will discover a world of sound possibilities that will take your musical journey to a new level.
These instruments are tuned to the 432 Hz frequency, which comes from Hindu and Buddhist traditions. In comparison to the Western world, 432 Hz tuning is the standard there instead of 440 Hz.
It is believed that it stimulates our chakras, the life energy centers, in a special way and thus promotes spiritual awakening. Healing Frequency Handpans are among the instruments with a particularly long resonance, which we recommend for meditative experiences and sound journeys. The Healing Frequency series also has its own character. These instruments are characterized by their special design and a fine tone.
Handcrafted in Italy, the Healing Frequency impresses with its striking appearance. The tones sound extremely clean and with a finesse that is also reflected in the haptic feeling when touching the surface. All in all, an all-round classy handpan.

About the Kami Handpan:
In the Shinto religion, the term "kami" refers to objects worthy of veneration. As spirits and guardians of places imbued with divinity, the kami are both creators and creatures of the force that produces it: they are not separate from nature, but belong to nature itself. Much like our handpan, tuned in F sharp minor, a precious scale capable of dissolving spaces and filling natural gaps between each individual sound, starting with the lowest notes. The overall tone has great spiritual power, in which the instrument itself, like the kami, serves to make visible the sacred roots of the universe.
The name says it all: This pan awaits you with mystical sounds that will take you to another sphere. Turn off your head and be completely in the here and now. The selection of tones for the mystical mood was deliberately chosen to be a faithful companion for meditations and yoga exercises. Of course, you can also play it at home to surround yourself with pleasant vibrations or to bring yourself into a transcendent state.
In the Hawaiian language it means "power of peace." As at the end of a ritual battle, the colors of gold and steel extend their hands and underline the extraordinary expressiveness of the 12-tone scale.C# Mysticism is the gentle power of understanding, the mixing of opposites that knows no war.
Characteristic of Mystik is the big jump from a fifth, from the DING (root note) to the first note on the pan, similar to Celtic Minor, for example, closely followed by an exciting semitone step, which thus represents the minor sixth to the root note. By jumping a minor third we reach the third note, which forms the octave to the root note. From this note, the complete hexatonic of the Mystik tuning is represented. To the next note it is a whole tone step, then another semitone step to the minor third, which gives the tuning the minor character. From there, the fourth step is skipped directly to the fifth tone. The minor sixth is then repeated and finally Mystik ends with the minor seventh, which was not yet used in the lower octave. In comparison to the heptatonic Aeolian mode, the fourth step is missing here (example on D: note G)
As a variant, the manufacturer offers Healing Frequency Mystik as a pentatonic scale. In this case, the last note (minor seventh) in the example above is omitted and the sequence of notes is repeated upwards. This variant gives the notes used even more space to sound, but also reduces the choice of notes.
